Abstract & Objective.

The aim of the present study was to compare the effect of three different progestins with differing androgenicity on carbohydrate and lipid metabolism in overweight-obese younger postmenopausal women.

Additionally, the relationship between testosterone and insulin resistance was assessed.

Methods.
